Ministry of Justice and Security
(Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid in Dutch)
All investigations carried out in the Netherlands require a permit. This permit is issued by the Ministry of Justice. In addition, employees of a detective agency must have been screened by the special laws department of the police. BSM has this permit and all employees have been screened. As a result, you are assured of integrity and confidentiality and, in the event of cybercrime investigations, you will receive a legally valid report.
Background information: Having your systems hacked with permission
With its knowledge of computer security, BSM helps customers to make computer systems more secure and store sensitive digital information as safely as possible. It often comes down to one of our employees trying to penetrate the client’s computer systems with permission, so we can help make the “digital doors” through which he was able to enter transparent and these gaps can be closed. This is done with pen tests, for example. BSM therefore has an advisory role to prevent problems. Within a company, BSM can help increase knowledge about digital security. Knowing which links can and cannot be clicked on reduces the chance of a virus in the company computer.
If, for example, a system has been hacked, you can contact BSM investigation services. Other forms of cybercrime, such as fraud or fake websites, can also be investigated and sometimes solved by them.
